The Crow chair has been designed with the intention of capturing the strength and elegance of the crow. Crows are not always amicable birds, but by their looks they are dark, striking and dramatic. Crows are often associated with possessing high intelligence, adaptability and resilience. Their unconventional beauty and observant nature were just a few of the characteristics that made it an interesting choice to explore from a design point of view.

Though many people are ambivalent concerning crows, they play an importantrole in the urban ecosystem, coexistingwith humanity, and I wanted to articulate these strong characteristics through the design of the chair.

Simultaneously, the form is derivative of the anatomy of a crow, acute angles handcrafted from stainless steel convey notions of dynamism and elegance with a sense of fragility.
